★★★★It's a good little pocket gun. Has a really long trigger pull but with no safety thats a good thing. Folks with larger hands might want to put it in a pocket holster. Over all the size is good for pocket carry and its hard to beat the price.
★★★★★This was my first Walther PPS M2 LE. The pistol performed as I had hoped and expected. All three magazines fit nicely and ejected easily. I look forward to experimenting with different brands of ammo. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.
★★★★★Another awesome revolver. The stainless finish on the Taurus is amazing. Shoots like a dream. Awesome edc. Pistol. 5 out of 5
★★★★★The fit and finish on this gun is really nice for the money. Shoots great and its beautiful to look at.
★★★★★Fun to shoot and has been flawless so far. Minimal sight in for good accuracy
★★★Gun is fine but the magazines are cheap and stick. They are polymer and do not feed rounds. Also they are expensive to replace.
How an FFL transfer works in Texas
Shipping & FFL details →Buying a gun online in Texas
Do I need a permit to buy a gun in Texas?
No. Texas has no permit to purchase, no firearm registration and no state waiting period. You buy from a licensed dealer, fill out ATF Form 4473 and pass the background check at the counter.
How does buying a gun online from F1 Firearms work?
You pay here, name a Texas FFL dealer at checkout, and the firearm ships to that dealer. You pick it up there after Form 4473 and the background check. F1 Firearms parts, magazines, optics and ammunition ship straight to your address.
Are F1 Firearms handguards and receiver sets in stock?
The F1 Firearms parts shelf is our own listed stock of around 150 items: handguards, barrels, matched receiver sets, build kits, bolt carrier groups and muzzle devices. Stripped and complete receivers are firearms under federal law and ship to your FFL; handguards, barrels and BCGs ship to your door.
Can I carry a handgun in Texas without a license?
Since September 1, 2021 (HB 1927), a Texan 21 or older who may lawfully possess a handgun can carry it in a holster, openly or concealed, without a License to Carry, subject to the place restrictions in Penal Code 46.03. The LTC is still issued by Texas DPS and still has advantages. See our License to Carry guide.
Does Texas limit magazine capacity or ban AR-15s?
No. Texas has no magazine limit and no state assault-weapon law. Standard 30-round magazines and AR-pattern rifles ship to Texas normally. Federal law, including the National Firearms Act, still applies, and we do not sell NFA items.
Can I hunt feral hogs with what I buy here?
Yes. Feral hogs are unprotected exotic animals in Texas: no closed season and no bag limit on private land, and since 2019 no hunting license is required to take them on private land with the landowner consent. Public land still needs a license. Our hog and deer rifle guide covers calibers.
Do you ship ammunition to Texas addresses?
Yes. Ammunition ships by ground to Texas addresses with no license or permit needed. Federal dealer age rules apply: 18 for rifle and shotgun ammunition, 21 for handgun ammunition. An adult signature may be required on delivery.
Does the city I live in have its own gun rules?
Generally no. Texas preempts local firearm regulation (Local Government Code 229.001 for cities, 236.002 for counties), so Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio and Fort Worth follow the same purchase and carry rules as the rest of the state. Cities can still regulate discharge inside city limits and their own buildings.

Guns for how Texas actually shoots
Texas is a rifle state with a hog problem, and that shapes what sells here. Feral hogs root up pasture from the Red River to the Rio Grande, they are hunted year-round on private land, and most of that work happens at night with a thermal or a light on an AR in .300 Blackout, 6.5 Grendel or .308. Whitetail is the other half of the calendar: the general season opens the first Saturday of November, the Hill Country west of Austin holds more deer per acre than almost anywhere in the country, and the South Texas brush below San Antonio grows the biggest ones. Bolt guns in .270, .308 and 6.5 Creedmoor do the deer work. Dove opens September 1 in the North and Central zones and fills every field edge with 12 and 20 gauges. Quail follow in late October on the Rolling Plains.
The F1 Firearms shelf is why this store exists. F1 Firearms builds skeletonized, competition-style AR parts, and we specialize in them: handguards, matched billet receiver sets, barrels, bolt carrier groups, muzzle devices and complete build kits, around 150 of them listed from our own stock rather than a distributor feed. Around that core sit CZ and Canik pistols, Marlin lever guns and used trade-ins, and the full distributor catalog of handguns, rifles, shotguns and ammunition at live prices. We are an independent Texas online store, not the manufacturer, and we ship nationwide to the FFL of your choice.
Texas keeps the paperwork short. There is no permit to purchase, no registration, no waiting period, no magazine limit and no state assault-weapon law, and cities cannot add their own rules on top (Local Government Code 229.001). Since September 2021 an adult who may lawfully own a handgun can carry it without a license, and plenty of Texans still get the DPS License to Carry for reciprocity and the places it opens up. What you do need is a background check at a licensed dealer, and that is how every firearm on this site is sold: order online, name the FFL dealer where you want to collect it, and finish Form 4473 and the NICS check at their counter. Read the Texas gun law overview before you buy, and the Houston and Dallas pages for how the transfer works in the big cities.
