Q & A
Where can I buy this online?
Right here at F1Firearms – we’ve shipped 62 of these since summer 2025 with zero complaints about function.
How’s the reliability?
In our testing, it fed everything from Tula to Federal without a single malfunction after the 100-round break-in period customers report.
What’s included?
Just the rifle – no sights, no case, no fluff. Exactly how SOCOM would issue it.
Can it handle steel case?
Yes – we put 200 rounds of Wolf through ours without cleaning and it kept running.
Is the barrel chrome-lined?
Negative – it’s phosphate treated like the original SOCOM contract rifles.
What’s the trigger pull weight?
We measured 7.5 lbs on our gauge – standard mil-spec.
Any issues with the finish?
It wears like you’d expect – not pretty but functional. Shows wear at contact points after 500 rounds in our testing.

Buying a handgun online in Texas
Handguns ship to the Texas FFL dealer you name, and you must be 21 to take the transfer. The dealer completes Form 4473 and the NICS check, or may accept a current Texas License to Carry in its place. Since September 2021 a qualifying adult 21 or older can carry a holstered handgun without a license, and DPS still issues the LTC for reciprocity. Our Texas License to Carry guide explains both. General information, not legal advice; check the current Penal Code.
