Overview

The Fierce Firearms Carbon Rival Black Cerakote Bolt Action Rifle in 6.5 PRC is engineered for hunters seeking top-tier performance at any distance. Combining a precision 24in carbon fiber barrel with a durable Cerakote finish, this rifle delivers exceptional accuracy, lightweight handling, and rugged endurance for field use. Backed by Fierce Firearms’ renowned .50 MOA guarantee with recommended ammunition, the Carbon Rival redefines long-range hunting performance without sacrificing reliability or value.

Precision Carbon Fiber Barrel

At the heart of the Carbon Rival lies a 24-inch carbon fiber-wrapped barrel designed to minimize weight while maximizing stiffness and heat dissipation. The advanced carbon composite overlay reduces barrel whip under sustained fire, ensuring that every shot meets your point of aim. Shooters will appreciate the improved balance and reduced overall weight—just 6.3 lbs unloaded—making this rifle ideal for mountain hunts, spot-and-stalk scenarios, and extended field treks.

Robust Bolt Action Performance

Built around a high-tensile steel bolt action, the Carbon Rival guarantees smooth cycling, secure lock-up, and consistent chamber alignment for superior repeatability. The precision-machined bolt body and dual-opposed locking lugs provide a rock-solid platform for the 6.5 PRC cartridge. Whether you’re dialing in shots at 300 yards or taking long-range targets beyond 1,000 yards, the bolt action mechanism offers reliable feeding and extraction, even in adverse conditions.

Durable Cerakote Blackout Finish

The entire rifle is protected by a flat black Cerakote finish, offering a stealthy blackout look while guarding against abrasion, corrosion, and chemical wear. This industry-leading coating adheres to every surface—barrel, action, and stock components—forming a resilient barrier against moisture, dirt, and rough handling. The matte finish reduces glare in bright sunlight, providing a tactical advantage during precision hunting or shooting competitions.

Exceptional Accuracy Guarantee

Fierce Firearms stands behind the Carbon Rival with a stringent .50 MOA accuracy guarantee using recommended factory-loaded ammunition. Each rifle is hand-tested and tuned to deliver half-inch groups at 100 yards under standard conditions. This level of precision, combined with the ballistic performance of the 6.5 PRC round, ensures you can confidently engage medium-to-large game with flat trajectories, high ballistic coefficients, and controlled recoil.

Ergonomic Design & Lightweight Construction

The stock of the Carbon Rival features a carbon fiber composite chassis with adjustable length of pull and comb height, allowing shooters to customize fit for optimal comfort and consistent cheek weld. A flared magazine well and smooth glass-pillar bedding contribute to fast reloads and zero retention shot after shot. The ambidextrous bolt handle, oversized bolt knob, and precision trigger—set to a crisp 2.5–4.0 lbs pull—further enhance user control and confidence in high-pressure hunting situations.

Recommended Ammunition & Usage

The 6.5 PRC cartridge delivers high muzzle velocities, flat trajectories, and exceptional downrange energy, making it a favorite among avid hunters and precision shooters. Fierce Firearms recommends premium ammunition such as Hornady Precision Hunter or Federal Premium for peak barrel life and accuracy. Whether you pursue elk, mule deer, or black bear, the Carbon Rival provides the terminal performance needed for ethical, humane harvests at extended ranges.
