Introducing the F1 Firearms King FDR 223 Wylde Modern Sporting Rifle

The F1 Firearms King FDR delivers best-in-class performance with its .223 Wylde chambered 16″ stainless steel barrel, precisely engineered for both .223 Remington and 5.56mm NATO ammunition. Built on a rugged AR-15 platform, this rifle combines a forged upper/lower receiver set, Type III hard coat anodizing, and a mid-length gas system to provide shooters with unmatched accuracy, reliability, and versatility in any tactical or competitive environment.

Precision Engineered Barrel & Chamber

At the heart of the King FDR lies a 16-inch .223 Wylde barrel with a 1:8″ twist rate, crafted from premium stainless steel and cold hammer forged for increased strength and consistent shot-to-shot accuracy. The .223 Wylde chamber allows shooters to safely fire both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO cartridges without sacrificing performance, delivering tighter groups and reduced throat erosion when compared to standard chambers.

Superior Handguard & Ergonomics

The F-1 Firearms 13-inch M-LOK free-float handguard offers maximum modularity and weight savings, while ensuring perfect barrel harmonics and heat dissipation. Strategically placed M-LOK slots allow effortless attachment of accessories such as tactical lights, foregrips, laser modules, and bipods. The mil-spec pistol grip and stock provide comfortable ergonomics, ensuring a positive purchase and rapid target acquisition during high-stress shooting scenarios.

Durable Construction & Finishes

Ruggedness is built in from the start, as both upper and lower receivers are forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and coated in Type III hard coat anodizing for superior corrosion resistance. The Black Nitride bolt carrier group offers extended service life, smoother cycling, and reduced fouling, while the mil-spec charging handle ensures reliable manipulation under adverse conditions. An A2 flash hider provides effective muzzle signature reduction without adding bulk or weight.

Performance Components & Trigger

A mil-spec trigger delivers a clean, consistent break and rapid reset for faster follow-up shots, making the King FDR an ideal platform for competition, duty, or home defense. The mid-length gas system reduces recoil impulse and muzzle rise, improving shooter control and comfort across extended strings of fire.

Built for Versatility

Whether you’re a precision competitor, tactical operator, or range enthusiast, the King FDR offers endless customization. It’s optics-ready with a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny top rail, allowing seamless mounting of red dots, holographic sights, or magnified optics. The rifle’s adaptable design supports a wide range of aftermarket accessories to tailor your setup to mission or match requirements.
