The F1 Firearms FDR-15 w/ Sightmark MTS Red Dot Sight in .223 Wylde delivers the ultimate combination of precision, reliability and value in a modern sporting rifle platform. Crafted in the United States, this California compliant rifle features a proprietary 16 inch match grade, stainless steel spiral-fluted barrel chambered in .223 Wylde. The .223 Wylde chamber offers the best of both worlds by safely accommodating .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammunition without sacrificing accuracy or performance. Whether you are a competitive shooter, a hunter, or simply seeking a dependable rifle for the range, the FDR-15 excels in every scenario.

Superior Barrel Technology
The centerpiece of the FDR-15 is its premium 16 inch stainless steel barrel. Each barrel undergoes a spiral fluting process that reduces weight, increases rigidity and accelerates cooling for consistent shot-to-shot performance. The .223 Wylde chamber is the ideal compromise between .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO, offering tighter freebore dimensions for improved accuracy with both rounds. At 16 inches, the barrel maintains a perfect balance of velocity, maneuverability and ease of handling.

Enhanced Forged Receiver and Handguard
This rifle features a 7075-T6 forging process for both upper and lower receivers, exceeding MIL-SPEC tolerances for long-term durability. The F1 Firearms 13.7 inch M-LOK handguard is also forged from high grade 7075-T6 aluminum and attaches directly to the receiver for a solid, rock-steady mount. The free-floating design keeps contact away from the barrel, preserving harmonics and boosting accuracy potential. Multiple M-LOK slots along the 360 degree circumference allow for the attachment of lights, lasers, grips and other accessories without adding unnecessary bulk.

Reliable Gas System and Bolt Carrier
The FDR-15 uses a carbine length gas system with a low-profile gas block for consistent cycling with a wide range of ammunition types. The bolt carrier group is fully machined from 8620 steel and coated with a durable phosphate or nitride finish for corrosion resistance. Each bolt undergoes magnetic particle inspection to ensure material integrity and safe operation under high pressures.

Sightmark Mini Solar Red Dot Sight
Included in this holiday package is the Sightmark MTS Mini Solar red dot optic. This compact sight features a solar backup power source supplemented by a CR2032 battery for uninterrupted operation. The 2 MOA dot reticle allows for fast target acquisition and precise shot placement at close to medium ranges. Adjustable windage and elevation turrets, along with 12 illumination settings, make the Sightmark MTS ideal for low light or bright sun conditions.

California Compliance
The FDR-15 comes configured to meet California compliance requirements. It ships with a fixed magazine capable of 10 rounds and a feature-compliant stock. No additional parts or build work is necessary to adhere to state regulations, making it a convenient choice for California residents who demand high performance without the headaches of additional modifications.

Ergonomics and Controls
The F1 Firearms FDR-15 includes ambidextrous safety selectors and a textured pistol grip for confident handling. The commercially compatible trigger guard allows use with gloves in colder weather, and the mil-spec trigger provides a crisp, consistent break. At just 6.7 pounds unloaded, this rifle is lightweight enough for extended carry but solid enough to dampen recoil and muzzle rise.
