Introducing the Diamondback DBAM29 9mm Luger Pistol

The Diamondback DBAM29 is engineered for shooters seeking a reliable, concealable, and high-performance subcompact pistol chambered in 9mm Luger. Featuring a rugged 3.5-inch stainless steel barrel, a corrosion-resistant black nitride stainless steel slide, and a durable black polymer frame, the DBAM29 blends functionality, comfort, and tactical readiness into a single package. Ideal for concealed carry, personal defense, and range use, this model ships complete with a Viridian laser sight and two magazines (one 12-round and one 17-round) to ensure you’re prepared for any situation.

Exceptional Build Quality and Finish

Every aspect of the Diamondback DBAM29 has been crafted with precision. The 3.5-inch stainless steel barrel delivers exceptional accuracy and durability, while the black nitride slide finish offers superior wear resistance and corrosion protection. The subcompact frame reduces overall footprint and weight, making it easy to conceal under clothing or in a compact holster. At just 22 ounces unloaded, the DBAM29 strikes the perfect balance between manageable recoil and confident control for rapid follow-up shots.

Ergonomics and Handling

The comfortable black polymer frame features aggressive but comfortable texturing for a positive grip in all conditions. The subcompact design accommodates a variety of hand sizes, and the reversible magazine catch makes this pistol suitable for both left- and right-handed shooters. An integrated accessory rail allows for the immediate attachment of lights or lasers, giving you the flexibility to customize your pistol for low-light or tactical scenarios.

Enhanced Sight Picture and Laser Integration

Standard 3-dot sights provide a clear and intuitive sight picture for fast target acquisition. Additionally, the included Viridian laser sight integrates seamlessly into the accessory rail, offering a red aiming point for rapid engagement under stress. The laser unit is easy to zero and features ambidextrous activation switches, ensuring instant on/off control at your fingertips.

Performance and Reliability

Chambered in 9mm Luger, the DBAM29 delivers manageable recoil, proven terminal performance, and readily available ammunition at an affordable price. The stainless steel barrel and nitride slide ensure consistent cycling and long service life, while the dual-spring recoil assembly mitigates felt recoil to improve shot-to-shot recovery. Whether you’re drilling drills at the range or carrying for self-defense, the DBAM29 offers reliable feeding, extraction, and ejection in all conditions.

Magazine Capacity and Versatility

The Diamondback DBAM29 ships with two magazines: a flush-fit 12-round magazine for deep concealment, and an extended 17-round magazine for range sessions or duty carry. Both magazines feature polymer base plates and reliable springs to ensure consistent feeding. Magazine changes are both rapid and reliable, thanks to the low-profile floorplates that won’t snag on clothing or holsters.

Concealed Carry and Personal Defense

With its subcompact dimensions—6.49 inches overall length and 3.5-inch barrel—the DBAM29 is a top choice for concealed carry. The slim slide and narrow profile make printing minimal when carried inside the waistband, in a shoulder holster, or in an ankle rig. The combination of stainless and nitride finishes helps the pistol remain resistant to sweat, rain, and daily carry conditions.

Maintenance and Durability

Field stripping the DBAM29 is quick and intuitive: lock the slide back, align the takedown notch, and remove the slide assembly for cleaning. The stainless steel and nitride components resist fouling buildup and corrosion, which means less frequent deep cleaning and more range time. Replacement parts and accessories are available through Diamondback’s network of authorized dealers, ensuring you can customize or maintain your pistol for years to come.
