Magazines in Texas

Texas sets no limit on magazine capacity, so standard 30-round AR magazines and full-capacity pistol magazines ship to your Texas address with no restriction and no dealer transfer. Federal law adds nothing for magazines either. If you ship a magazine to an address in another state, that state may cap capacity, and we will not send one where it is banned. Our Texas gun laws page lists what the state does and does not regulate; it is general information, not legal advice.
