Buying a shotgun online in Texas

This shotgun ships to the Texas FFL dealer you pick at checkout, where you fill out Form 4473 and the dealer calls in the NICS check; Texas adds no purchase permit and no waiting period. Dove opens September 1 in the North and Central zones and the gun must be plugged to three shells for migratory birds. Waterfowl on the coast need non-toxic shot. A 12-gauge pump also makes a plain home defense gun. Check the current TPWD regulations each season.
