Ordering ammunition in Texas

Ammunition ships straight to your Texas address by ground; the state requires no license, permit, dealer transfer or purchase record. Federal age rules for dealer sales apply: 18 for rifle and shotgun loads, 21 for handgun cartridges, and an adult signature may be required at delivery. Buying for hunting season, remember that rimfire is not legal for deer in Texas, migratory bird shotguns hold three shells, and coastal waterfowl need non-toxic shot. Check the TPWD regulations before opening day.
